Modernist and contemporary pieces of Brazilian collectible design, from Oscar Niemeyer to Zanini de Zanine, Lucas Recchia, and Jacqueline Terpins are united by an idea of dynamic balance.
They exist in a state between presence and absence, stability and levitation, solidity and fluidity, stillness and movement. Bronze shimmers, glass dissolves, and recycled wood and cardboard become symbols of endless renewal.
In Chasing a Mirage, the objects appear to hover on the threshold between dream and reality, forever yearning for their own reflection on the horizon.
